Rationale

My concept for Qantas airlines is simple but covers the necessities of the pre-flight experience. These services include a clear summary of upcoming flight information, a central area to view and share itineraries but also to navigate an airport. As well as these, the ability to store pages of ones passport have been included in the app to assist in one of the scary and inconvenient parts of travel for some people — losing a passport and visiting an embassy for replacement. A subtle connection back to Qantas brand identity has been maintained in the early app screens and a delicate use of the brand red, while avoiding overuse. The app is a refreshingly simple app that displays essential information for Qantas Club members.

Wherever you go there you are — Urbanscale

What we want to do is inscribe the very same dot that generally connotes “You Are Here” on a map in the world, at their very feet, as though the map itself were simply an overhead satellite view of the situation. And, again, so there’s a perfect 1:1 correlation maintained, we want the arrow that indicated direction of view on the map to indicate direction of view on the ground:
